Keeping You Safe at RISE
At RISE, your safety and wellbeing are very important to us.
We work with children and young people to make sure they feel:
- Safe
- Listened to
- Respected
- Supported
What Safeguarding Means
- Helping to keep you safe
- Protecting you from harm, abuse or neglect
- Making sure you get the help you need when things feel difficult
How We Help Keep You Safe
- The adults who work with you at RISE are trained to keep children safe
- We listen to what you say and take your worries seriously
- We treat everyone fairly and with respect
- We work with other services if this helps to keep you safe
If You Are Worried or Upset
- Talk to a worker you trust at RISE
- Ask for help at any time
- Tell us if you feel unsafe, scared or unhappy We will:
- Listen to you
- Explain what will happen next
- Do our best to help keep you safe
Sometimes, if we are worried about your safety, we may need to share information with other adults whose job it is to protect children. We will try to tell you when we do this, unless it is not safe to do so.
Your Voice Matters
- Your thoughts and feelings are important
- You have the right to be heard
- We want to understand what life is like for you
