Teachers & Teaching Assistants
Teaching Professionals with a Wellbeing-First Approach
At Rise Education & Care Group, we work with qualified and experienced teachers and teaching assistants across early years, primary, secondary and specialist settings.
What makes Rise different is how we recruit, support and place these professionals.
Within Rise, teachers and TAs are supported and placed as Educational Wellbeing Practitioners professionals whose impact goes beyond curriculum delivery to include emotional regulation, inclusion and stability.

Educational Wellbeing Practitioners
Our teachers and teaching assistants bring more than classroom experience.
They are selected for their ability to work calmly, ethically and effectively with learners who may be disengaged, dysregulated or vulnerable.
They Bring:
- Strong curriculum and classroom experience
- A deep understanding of SEND, SEMH and inclusion
- The ability to stabilise behaviour and support regulation
- A wellbeing-first approach to learning and engagement
While they may be deployed in familiar roles such as teacher or teaching assistant, they are placed specifically for their capacity to support wellbeing, behaviour and inclusion not just academic outcomes.
How They Support Settings
Educational Wellbeing Practitioners are placed to:
- Support pupils who are disengaged or emotionally dysregulated
- Strengthen inclusion within existing provision
- Reduce pressure on school staff and leadership
- Create emotionally safe learning environments
- Help learners feel secure, supported and ready to engage
While they may be deployed in familiar roles such as teacher or teaching assistant, they are placed specifically for their capacity to support wellbeing, behaviour and inclusion not just academic outcomes.
Ethical, Safeguarding-Led Recruitment
All teaching and TA placements are:
- Values-led and carefully matched
- Underpinned by robust safer recruitment
- Clear on role boundaries and expectations
- Compliant with safeguarding and regulatory standards
We prioritise fit, wellbeing and sustainability over speed or volume.
